Blue Toad Murder Files™ Privacy Policy

Please read this section carefully.

This section describes the information which Relentless Software Limited of One Air Street, Brighton BN1 3FB (“Relentless”) collects and how this is used by Relentless.

Your application to register with Relentless indicates your agreement to the terms set out below.

Data which Relentless collects

Relentless may collect and store the names, email addresses, user names, passwords and avatars provided by persons registering on the Blue Toad Murder Files website (“Registrants”).  This data is known as “Registrant Data”.  Registrant Data also includes any additional information that Registrants may provide to Relentless, for instance in any email sent to Relentless.

Purpose of collection of data

Relentless will collect, process and store the Registrant Data for the purposes of providing information about Blue Toad Murder Files games and other Relentless products (including information about special offers and promotions) to Registrants, and controlling access to the Blue Toad forum.

In addition, for all Registrants who tick the box entitled “Yes I want to receive Newsletters and other regular updates from the Blue Toad Murder Files and Relentless Software” (or similar words), Relentless will also collect, process and store the Registrant Data for the following purposes:

• Sending Registrants a regular newsletter informing Registrants about Relentless, Blue Toad Murder Files games and other Relentless products

(Registrants can untick this box at any time).

Relentless will contact Registrants using the email address provided by the Registrant during or after the registration process.

Relentless may share Registrant Data with other companies in the same group as Relentless, and with its contractors, but in each case only for the purposes set out above.

Cookies

The Blue Toad Murder Files website uses “cookies”.  Cookies are small files which are stored locally on the computer of anyone using the website.  Relentless uses cookies to help with the process of signing in to the website, for instance to check whether someone has already signed in.

Relentless may also use cookies to collect information about which parts of the website each visitor has visited and when and how each visitor used the website, and use this information to assist with personalising the website or improving the website for its visitors, for improving its products and for other marketing purposes.

Most web browsers allow computer users to “disable” cookies or to delete them.  However, if you do disable or delete cookies this may affect your use of the Blue Toad Murder Files website.

Forum

Registrants may use the Blue Toad forum provided that they adhere to the forum rules posted by Relentless, as these rules may be amended from time to time. Access to the forum is at the discretion of Relentless and may be revoked or limited at any time.

Children

If any Registrant is a child aged under 16 then that child’s details must be input by a parent or guardian and a parent or guardian must click all applicable boxes.

Children in the US under 13 years old cannot register.

Removing data; queries

Registrants can require Relentless to delete the Registrant Data at any time by writing to Relentless at the address above.  They can also write to Relentless to ask any questions they may have about Relentless’ privacy policy and its use of Registrant Data.
