This section describes the information which Relentless Software Limited of One Air Street, Brighton BN1 3FB ("Relentless") collects and how this is used by Relentless.

Your application to register with Relentless indicates your agreement to the terms set out below.

Data which Relentless collects

Relentless may collect and store the names, email addresses, user names, passwords and avatars provided by persons registering on the Blue Toad Murder Files website ("Registrants").  This data is known as "Registrant Data".  Registrant Data also includes any additional information that Registrants may provide to Relentless, for instance in any email sent to Relentless.

Purpose of collection of data

Relentless will collect, process and store the Registrant Data for the purposes of providing information about Blue Toad Murder Files games and other Relentless products (including information about special offers and promotions) to Registrants, and controlling access to the Blue Toad forum.

In addition, for all Registrants who tick the box entitled "Yes I want to receive Newsletters and other regular updates from the Blue Toad Murder Files and Relentless Software" (or similar words), Relentless will also collect, process and store the Registrant Data for the following purposes:

If any Registrant is a child aged under 16 then that child's details must be input by a parent or guardian and a parent or guardian must click all applicable boxes.

Children in the US under 13 years old cannot register.

Removing data; queries

Registrants can require Relentless to delete the Registrant Data at any time by writing to Relentless at the address above.  They can also write to Relentless to ask any questions they may have about Relentless' privacy policy and its use of Registrant Data.

The following forms the terms and conditions between you and Relentless Software Ltd for the use of this website and the purchase of goods for your own private use. It is in addition to your statutory rights. We have written this in plain English and this document is part of our commitment to providing total customer satisfaction. Information about our products

We will provide honest, clear, legal and decent information and advertising about the products we have for sale. All such material meets the conditions of the British Codes of Advertising and Sales Promotion (which you can see at www.asa.org.uk) and we will comply with any rulings given by the ASA on any complaints raised with them.

We will not advertise for sale any product that we do not genuinely believe to be available as advertised. If the release date of a product changes, we will show this change on our website promptly and, if practical, let you know if you have already placed an order for it.

When making available any gift certificates, vouchers, discounts or special offers to you we will clearly say if any restrictions apply. The specifications of each product will include details of any specific technical requirements needed in order to operate it correctly. Please make sure that you have checked these requirements before purchase.

Prices / Ordering and Delivery

The prices of all goods on this website are in pounds sterling inclusive of VAT. Prices and offers remain valid on day of publishing only.
We accept payment in Pounds sterling, Euro and United States Dollar. The methods of payment we accept are debit cards displaying the Maestro or Visa Delta logos and credit cards displaying the Visa, Mastercard or JCB logos.

We will confirm any order you place with us through this website by e-mail promptly after your order is placed. This confirmation will include your name, the order or reference number and the total price being charged to you. No contract of sale will be deemed entered into between you and Relentless Software Ltd for the supply of any order until such confirmation is received by you. We will clearly show you at the point you place your order if any other charges will be added to the price of the goods.

We will provide you with a receipt for any goods purchased from us. We will promptly correct any mistakes in bills, receipts or payments that you tell us about and, at the latest, within 30 days of our agreement to do so.

We will only be held liable for any loss or compensation beyond the amount charged to you for any failure on our part to deliver goods ordered by you as the UK Sale of Goods Act 1979 makes provision for (in essence the difference in cost directly and naturally occurring from you purchasing the same goods elsewhere as a result of our failure to deliver).

In exceptional circumstances we reserve the right to refuse your order, in which case we will promptly notify you and tell you why.

Security, Data Protection and Privacy

We are registered to hold your details and meet the conditions of the Data Protection Act 1988. We will not hold sensitive information about you or transfer information about you to third parties without your permission and on request we will promptly send you a copy of any details that we hold about you.
We will not send you advertising material if you do not want us to or send you e-mail if you have indicated you do not want us to. We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that our website is secure and that all sensitive information transmitted through it is sent securely and held confidentially. Any third parties or agents that we may use to process this sensitive information on our behalf have also taken all reasonable security steps. The only exceptions to the above are where we may take appropriate and reasonable steps in the prevention of criminal and fraudulent activity.

Children

While our website is generally suitable for viewing by children and we welcome gaming enthusiasts both young and old equally, those under the age of 18 are not permitted to make any purchases from this site.
